Original and current owner John Brenner and Day 1 manager Duane Messner strive to bring collectors the best variety of old and new items available anywhere. With a  knowledgeable and courteous staff with over 150 years of collectable's experience, Lookin' For Heroes continues to be a leader in the collectable's field in the Waterloo region. Whether it new comics  (which arrive every Wednesday) or sports card releases (which arrive almost daily), there is a vast selection of products sure to satisfy even the most advanced collector.

We have a large selection of new comics from major and independent publishers and the best selection of Graphic novels and Trade paperbacks in the area. We carry a full selection of new sports and non-sports card products from major manufacturers such as Upper Deck, Panini and Topps. We are a major dealer of Magic the Gathering packs, boxes and singles, as well as, other collectable card games such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight! Vanguard, and Pokémon. Also available is a large selection of action figures, toys and popular collectable's which reflect past and current trends in the Pop Culture market.
